Literary competition organised in Vijayawada
The department of English of Maris Stella College MSC and SPARK Literary Club organised SPARKLIT 2K18 Ingenious Minds at Work, a statelevel intercollegiate literary competition on college premises here on Tuesday
Vijayawada: The department of English of Maris Stella College (MSC) and SPARK Literary Club organised SPARKLIT – 2K18 ‘Ingenious Minds at Work’, a state-level inter-collegiate literary competition on college premises here on Tuesday.
About 150 students from various degree and engineering colleges participated in the competition which includes Andhra Loyola College, ALIET, Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, KBN College, Sri Vidya College of Commerce, Nalanda Degree College.
The events of the competitions were skit, debate, essay-writing, quiz, western dance and personality contest.
Students from various colleges participated in the competitions with enthusiasm and prizes were given to the winners.
The college principal Dr Sr Jasintha Quadras, vice-principal Dr Sr Innyasamma, Dr Satya Sudha, HoD English inaugurated the programme.
Dr Sr Jasintha Quadras welcomed the gathering. All the members of English department and students of MA English and IIIrd BA took part in the events.
