Vijayawada: AgriGold victims decided to take the issue to the notice of the State government in the monsoon session which begins on September 6 at Amaravati. As a part of the programme, the victims will get their heads tonsured at Lenin Centre in Vijayawada on September 11.

AgriGold customers and Agents Welfare Association honorary president Muppalla Nageswara Rao and the association state general secretary V Tirupati Rao speaking to the media at the CPI state office on Wednesday, they said that women will stage a protest in Guntur on September 24 and protests will be staged at the district collectorates on October 1 demanding that the government resolve the problems of 32 lakh AgriGold customers.

They said the customers and agents are suffering due to legal hurdles on the auction of properties. He alleged that the TDP government had failed to render justice to lakhs of AgriGold customers, who had been waiting for justice.
