Vijayawada: Children, youth and elders of Vijayawada and nearby places can relax and get entertained at Jamuna Circus at Bhavanipuram Babburi Grounds here.
The circus was inaugurated by Kanakamedala Ranadhir, son of Rajya Sabha member Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Ranadhir said that for the entertainment of the public the circus artistes risk their life in performing various stunts and feats.
Stating that modern age people were busy and showing less interest on these things, he suggested people to come and relax and get entertained with family by visiting circus.
The circus organiser, K Sharma said that Jamuna circus has 116 years of history. They had organised the circus earlier at Vijayawada and there was a good response from the people of the city.
He said that to entertain people, they had come up with world class standards at the circus carnival.
He said that there would be three shows per day at1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm and on Sunday there would be an extra show at10.30 pm, he said.
The entry fee would be Rs 100, Rs 200 and Rs 300.
