Bhimavaram: The credit of manifesting the youth into good citizens and induce patriotism goes to the teachers, said Dr G Parthasarathi Varma, principal of SRKR Engineering College here on Wednesday.

The principal was addressing the students on the occasion of Teachers Day. He said that teachers play a major role in transforming the students to become successful future citizens of the nation.

Mechanical HoD Dr K Brahma Raju lit the lamp and cut the cake to celebrate the occasion. A few senior faculty members spoke on the occasion.

The college vice-principal Dr KVSN Raju, Dr Vijaya Kumar, professors of various departments participated in programme.
