Awareness meet on dengue, malaria fevers held in Guntur
District Collector Kona Sasidhar directed the officials to take precautionary measures to check spread of malaria and dengue fevers He addressed a meeting held in his camp office in Guntur city on Monday Speaking on this occasion, he directed the officials to create awareness where dengue or malaria fever cases were registered and educate the people how to check spread of these fevers
Guntur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar directed the officials to take precautionary measures to check spread of malaria and dengue fevers. He addressed a meeting held in his camp office in Guntur city on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, he directed the officials to create awareness where dengue or malaria fever cases were registered and educate the people how to check spread of these fevers.
He instructed the officials to explain need to keep surroundings clean and conduct anti-larva operations. He said that they had set up 22 teams in the identified wards and the teams would go to all houses and explain precautionary measures to be taken to check spread of the fevers. He directed the officials to conduct publicity programmes and distribute pamphlets. GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar was also present.
