Kakinada: East Godavari Collector Kartikeya Mishra hailed the services of Red Cross Society for extending medical services and providing required blood supplies to the needy.
Participating at the annual meet of the society at Vidhana Gowtami Hall at Collectorate here on Tuesday, Kartikeya Mishra specially mentioned the services of Red Cross to tribal population in agency areas.
On this occasion, the Collector asked other organisations to extend their services taking Red Cross as their role model.
The Collector while complementing the role of revenue services in donation collections for the needs of Red Cross presented medals to those who extended services.
Red Cross Society East Godavari unit president YD Rama Rao explained in detail about various activities of the organization.
Red Cross district secretary K Siva Kumar and others participated.
