Vijayawada: The Christian Rights Protection and Service Fellowship of India (CRPSFI) demanded that the state government provide relaxation in GO 746 restricting other religious programmes at Tirupati.

The president of CRPSFI, Bishop Anand Paul on Monday demanded that the government release compensation to the churches which were submerged under Polavaram project.

He said that even after 70 years of Independence, the lifestyle and living conditions of SC, ST and minorities did not change.

In BJP ruling states, the situation of the SC, ST and minority community people was pathetic.

He wanted the government to cancel GOs against them and stop attacks on SC, ST, minorities and Dalits and treat them like human beings.

He asked the government to implement the Supreme Court order and do justice to them.

Pastor Ch Robert, Pastor U Mukesh, Pastor Ananya Mohan Rao, MS Rao, Sudhir, Bhagyaraj and members of State Women's wing and State Christian Youth Section were present.
