Vijayawada: The Chief General Manager, AP Telecom Circle AP Rao, launched the BSNL 4G services to mark BSNL Formation Day here on Monday. The 4G services would revolutionise telecom services which would bring mobile TV, online gaming, video call, movie on demand, faster downloads and other services.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Rao said that BSNL partnered with Amazon and was offering one year Amazon Prime membership worth Rs 999 at no extra cost on selected BSNL post-paid mobiles and Broadband plans.
He said that during the current year, AP Circle provided 45,000 Broadband connections registering a growth of 73 percent. However GB plans became very popular among the customers and the customer response was growing. He said that AP Circle stands first across the country when compared to the growth of broadband services.
He said that AP circle provided 36,000 landline connections registering a growth of 28 percent and the landline customer base of 5.8 lakh would be merged to NGN by the year-end facilitating for the provision of value-added services like Free Centrex, Audio and Video Conference, he added.
