11K Prakasam youth to get unemployment allowance
Minister for forests, environment, science and technology Siddha Raghavarao announced that about 11,000 unemployed youth from Prakasam district are going to receive allowance of Rs 1,000 per month from now onwards under the Mukhyamantri Yuvanestam Scheme
Ongole: Minister for forests, environment, science and technology Siddha Raghavarao announced that about 11,000 unemployed youth from Prakasam district are going to receive allowance of Rs 1,000 per month from now onwards under the Mukhyamantri Yuvanestam Scheme.
The minister launched the Mukhyamantri Yuvanestam Scheme in Prakasam district and interacted with the beneficiaries in Ongole on Tuesday. He said Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu designed the scheme not only to provide allowance to unemployed but also to enhance their skills and assist them in getting a job.
He said the selected youth will be provided training in self-employment, entrepreneurship, apprentice or on job training through AP State Skill Development Corporation. He said the government is trying to bring industries to Donakonda and provide employment opportunities to district youth soon.
