Kakinada: The Talli- Bidda (mother and child) Express Employees Union demanded that the government revise wages of employees working in East Godavari.
They staged protest demonstration and raised slogans at Kakinada Government General Hospital on Wednesday by wearing black badges.
The employees want hike in wages to Rs 15,000 from the present Rs 7,193.
Employee benefits such as PF, ESI and eight-hour shift should be provided.
The other demands include life insurance and accident insurance coverage.
The Talli-Bidda Express Employees Union leaders warned of intensifying their agitation if their demands were not met on or before October 15.
