Vijayawada: Kasani Krishna Mudiraj Memorial All India Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament-2018 will be held from October 10 to 14.
The Pallavi Chess Academy is organizing the Open Fide Rating Chess Tournament at Global Indian International School, Uppal Campus, Hyderabad.
Relating to this, secretary of the Academy M Hiranmayee spoke to media here on Thursday.
She said that all the chess players were eligible to participate in the tournament without age restrictions.
The total cash prize of Rs 4.05 lakh would be distributed to the winners in various categories, she said and added that a total of 160 cups and 57 cash prizes along with trophies will be awarded in various age groups. The last date for registration is October 6.
