Kakinada: Lion’s Club, Kakinada as part of its social service activity extended assistance to a woman for continuation of her teacher training course in a local college.
Acceding to Limos past district governor Badam Balakrishna and a native of V K Rayapuram in Samarlakota mandal in East Godavari G Satyaveni approached the club seeking assistance for continuation of her teacher training course, as her parents could not mobilize the required funds due to financial constraints.
On noticing that Satyaveni was a merit student, the club extended the required fund to the tune of Rs 12,500 on Sunday for continuation of her teacher training course, Dr Balakrishna said.
