Guntur: CPI leaders protested at ZP Grievance Cell demanding that the district administration solve problems of the farmers. They said that the farmers in Vinukonda mandal were facing lot of problems. Crops were drying up due to lack of sufficient water, they complained.
Addressing a gathering, CPI district secretary J Ajay Kumar wanted the district administration to release sufficient water to save standing crops. He requested the authorities to fill Perumallapalli major to save standing crops. He requested to sanction houses to all eligible in Mangalagiri town immediately and added that the officials allotted houses to a few families.
