Kurnool: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths caught Assistant Engineer Rangaswamy and Work Inspector Subbalakshmamma red-handed while accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 from one Rajasekhar, for sanctioning the bills, at Kothapalli village in Kurnool district on Monday evening.

ACB DSP C Jayarama Raju said that Rajasekhar of Guvvalakunta village in Kothapalli mandal was sanctioned a house under the Indiramma Housing Scheme. After completing the house construction, he approached the Housing Department officials for sanctioning the bills. A case was filed, and the duo will be produced in the ACB Court on Tuesday, the DSP said.
