Vijayawada: The Consulate of the Republic of Korea, Hyderabad, the Korea Foundation, Korean Art and Cultural Centre, Guntur in association with Andhra Pradesh Tourism will organise Korea’s Number 1 Non-Verbal Comic Music - ‘Nanta Cookin’ at Thummalapalli Kalakshetram here on October 23.

A group of Korean artistes will perform a theatrical named ‘Nanta Cookin’ which is completely non-verbal with a few words spoken mostly in English.

Nanta musical performance dramatizes reckless rhythms and percussion sounds with a comical twist.

Kitchen utensils are transformed into musical instruments and the audience would be entertained with jaw-dropping performances as the Nanta chefs busily comically cook away on stage.

The musical has a simple back story of three cooks attempting to finish preparing a wedding banquet within a strict time limit while the manager installs his incompetent nephew among the kitchen staff.
The highlight of the show would be the ‘Finale’ where the cast beat on drums and confuse the audience with the sound of the drums and their pounding heartbeats.
