Kurnool: District Collector S Satyanarayana has expressed dissatisfaction over poor sanitation in Padidampadu village. He warned of taking action against officials concerned if cleanliness is not maintained when he visits the village after three days.
As part of the Grama Darshini programme, the Collector accompanied by other officials visited Padidampadu village on Thursday. Speaking to the media, the Collector said surroundings of government high school are very untidy.
He instructed the sanitation workers to keep the school premises neat and clean. The Collector directed the headmaster to concentrate more on boys than girls as they are weak in English language.
After noticing the school is not having compound wall, Satyanarayana asked the officials to send proposals for the construction of the compound wall. MPDO Shivaleela, MEO Omkar Yadav, village secretary Anuradha and other officials were present.
