Kurnool: A TDP worker suffered knife injuries on head at Singanapalle village in Banaganapalle mandal on Friday as activists of YSRCP and TDP clashed with each other. The injured identified as Bhrama Reddy. He was immediately rushed to government hospital in Banaganapalle for treatment.
Dispute arose between YSRCP activist Pulla Reddy and victim when former tried to lay water pipes through the farm land of Bhrama Reddy for which latter objected. Pulla Reddy became furious and attacked him with the support of his followers.
On receiving information, cops rushed to the village and brought situation under control. A police picket was set up as a precautionary measure in the village. A case was registered, and cops launched a hunt to nab the accused.
