Vijayawada: Three cultural organisations, namely Andhra Artists Association, Vijayawada Samskrutika Samakhya and Sumanjali Arts jointly organised a playlet titled “Satbhukthi” at Veledandla Hanumantharaya Grandhalayam hall here.

Sukhamanchi Koteswara Rao, the writer of the play designed this playlet basing on the story written by JT Bhupati Raju alias Palakshudu. The writer had made the script basing on the point-- “A genuine and hard work will yield good results”.

Jyothy Rani as Simhachalam exhibited excellent performance throughout the play and the writer and director Sukhamanchi Koteswara Rao as Shavukar did his role with more understanding. The other two characters played by Rajani Srikala and ES Pavan Kumar.

Pavan Kumar and Rajani Srikala scenes should have been conceived more effective duly balancing with the other two characters. Due to this, the play could not capture the attention of the audience. However, with the impressive performance of Jyothy the play was sustained.

KSS Sarma’s background score should have been little low tone. Edukondalu rendered background song.

A brief meeting was also organised before staging the playlet.
