Amaravati: The British Council expressed interest in providing education to the school students during their interaction with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Undavalli on Wednesday.

Alen Gamel, representative of British Council for Culture, and others met Chandrababu Naidu. On the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu said that the State government has created more than 4,000 virtual classrooms in schools across the State. He requested them to provide virtual education to improve skills in English language among the students in schools through these classrooms.

Reacting to his request, the British Council members agreed to provide English education in online mode and they will also conduct the exams through online. Chief Minister also asked them to help people in the State improve their English language skills.

The British Council members expressed gratitude to Chandrababu Naidu as he gave them an opportunity to be part of a mega project of providing English education in the State.
