Vijayawada: AP Brahmin Corporation is going to conduct Giri Pradakshina around Indrakeeladri on December 9 offering prayers to Goddess Durga and Mallikarjuna Swamy to bless N Chandrababu Naidu to retain power and become Chief Minister after the 2019 State Assembly elections. Speaking to the media persons here on Saturday, AP Brahmin Corporation Chairman Vemuri Ananda Surya said that nearly 500 Brahmins would participate in the programme.
On this occasion, he released the poster of Giri Pradakshina at TDP urban office here. He said that the TDP government allocated Rs 280 crore for Brahmin Corporation and it also spent Rs 195 crore so far. He said that the State government had extended financial help to 8,953 self-help groups belonging to Brahmins. The State government provided scholarships and financial help to Brahmins students in big way.
