Visakhapatnam: If Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Centre continued its anti-people’s policies, it would only result in further strengthening the anti-BJP front, said HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao here on Sunday. The Minister spoke to the media on the sidelines of a function in the city.
He flayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for adopting unilateral policies and acting as a dictator. He said the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre had destroyed the most prestigious and premier investigating agency in the country CBI.
He alleged that the Centre was using CBI to conduct raids at the offices and residences of its political opponents. Ganta said all sections of people welcomed the decision taken by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu banning the CBI from entering the State. He said the BJP government at the Centre totally failed to protect the democratic values in the country.
