Vijayawada: Huge number of people from the Kshatriya community across the 13 districts of AP participated in a protest demonstration against the government demanding the government to establish Kshatriya Corporation.
The protest was organised by Kshatriya Seva Parishad and Kshatriya Youth Force at Dharna Chowk on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Kshatriya Seva Parishad state general secretary Pusapati Vijayarama Raju expressed his gratitude to the state government for supporting various communities through welfare schemes and demanded the government to establish Kshetriya corporation to support the poor Kshatriya community people.
He said that for name sake they are called Rajas, and do not have kingdoms any more.
Many of them are living in a pathetic situation, he said and added that they have requested the government many a time in the past to establish Kshatriya Corporation to support the poor people of the community.
However there was no response from the government till now. Stating that the government was treating them as vote bank, he demanded solution to their problems, failing which they would vote to the party which would support and help them.
He said that the protest would continue till December 5 and if there is no response from the government they would intensify the protest, said Vijayarama Raju.
