Kakinada: The Rajaka meet organised at R and B guest house here on Sunday demanded that the government accord SC status to Rajaka social section.
K Ramana Rao who presided the meeting said that though the TDP promised SC status for Rajakas during the last elections, nothing was done so far.
The meet demanded for SC status, besides starting of Rajaka Corporation and political representation to Rajakas.
The meet also wanted contracts to Rajakas for washing of cloths in all government sector units like hospitals, hostels and other instructions.
Rajaka leaders D Rama Rao, P Titupatayya, P Srinivas and representatives of Rajaka associations from various places attended.
