Vijayawada: The temple authorities of Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam introduced ‘Suprabhatam’ Arjitha Seva of Goddess Kanaka Durga from 3 am to 4 am here on Sunday.
Suprabhata Seva performed on a grand note by the temple priests. The devotes had a special darshan of Goddess Durga. The temple authorities fixed the Suprabhata Seva ticket as Rs 300. Till now, the Suprabhata Seva was confined to Lord Venkateswara.
Devotees in Vijayawada are expressing their happiness over the decision of the temple officials.
Venkatamma, a senior citizen expressed her happiness for the decision taken by the temple authorities and with this everyone would have the darshan of the deity with vedic hymns early in the morning, she added.
