Selection trials for IIKPL inaugurated

Vijayawada: C Honnappa, Arjuna awardee in Kabaddi inaugurated the selection trials for Indo-International Kabaddi Premier League (IIKPL) at IGMC Stadium here on Tuesday.
The New Andhra Kabaddi Association was organising selection trails for IIPKL from Andhra and Telangana kabaddi players as per the guidelines of New Kabaddi Federation of India.
Honnappa participated as chairman for selection committee players from both the Telugu and expressed his happiness about the participation of players. As many as 162 speaking states attended the selection trails.
Indo International Kabaddi Premier League will be held during January 2019 at various places across the country with eight teams. The main aim of conducting the league was to create financial benefit to the players.
The list of probables will be finalized on Wednesday and the final selection will be conducted in January 2019, according to Y Srikanth, secretary of New Andhra Kabaddi Association.
