Visakhapatnam: Over 26 government officials from 13 countries including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Botswana, Cambodia, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uzbekistan and Vietnam who are working at their respective countries power utilities, visited APEPDCL on Wednesday to study the best practices adopted in by Discom.

The delegates as part of their training programme under the REC Institute of Power Management and Training (REC IPMT) Hyderabad, sponsored by Ministry of External Affairs visiting the Discoms in the country.

H Y Dora, Chairman and Managing Director and APEPDCL, welcomed the delegates and presented a power point presentation and explained how the APEPDCL has achieved the lowest transmission and distributions (T&D) losses with advanced IT solutions and bringing transparency in power supply to the visiting team.
