Rajamahendravaram: YSRCP floor leader in the council Medapati Sharmila Reddy has said the multiplex issue will be discussed in the council meeting scheduled to be held on Thursday.
Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Wednesday, she said though the multiplex construction works commenced nine months ago, why the officials of city planning were mum in this regard.
The city planning officials will threaten and impose fines on poor and middle class people for even small deviations and now why they had failed to stop the illegal construction, she questioned.
The multiplex owners dug 70 feet depth and because of this excavation, the compound wall of adjacent apartment was collapsed, posing threat to the apartment where the people were residing in 20 flats, she said.
YSRCP will raise the point in the council meeting and the construction of multiplex complex was a glaring example for the inefficient administration of corporation, Sharmila Reddy averred.
