Vijayawada: BJP MP GVL Narasimha Rao said that now Telugu Desam Party has been transformed into Telugu Congress Party under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, he said that NT Rama Rao established the Telugu Desam Party to fight against the Congress. But now, Chandrababu Naidu merged the TDP in Congress, he said sarcastically.
The BJP MP said that N Chandrababu Naidu started his political career in the Congress party and now he returned to his own party. He said that AICC president Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu joined hands against the ideologies of their own parties and they made false allegations against the BJP.
The MP urged the Election Commission to disqualify Telugu Desam Rajya Sabha members Y Sujana Chowdary and CM Ramesh from their posts. He alleged that both the members are indulged in illegal practices and are tax defaulters. He wondered as to how CM was supporting them and asked him as to how he blames the CBI and other enforcement agencies.
