Tirupati: Tirumala, the abode of Lord Venkateswara, witnessed a galore of VIPs on Saturday offering prayers at the famed shrine. Chief pontiff of Srirangam Srimath Andvan Ashramam Sri Varaha Mahadesikan offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara on Saturday. On his arrival in front of Srivari temple, Swamiji was accorded ceremonial welcome by the officials led by TTD Joint Executive Officer K S Sreenivasa Raju along with temple priests with temple honours and conducted him into the sanctum amidst chanting of scriptures by Veda pundits.

Judge in High Court of AP and Telangana at Hyderabad Justice Nagarjuna Reddy also visited the shrine along with his family and offered prayers. The temple officials received the justice and after darshan presented him Theertha Prasadams. AP Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasada Rao along with his family also offered prayers to Lord Venkatewara. Later he spoke with media. He said the credit of bringing the State which was in disarray after the bifurcation, back on the rails goes to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and added that he would return to power and will complete all the major projects including Polavaram and Amaravati. District Collector PS Pradyumna along with his family members worshipped Lord Balaji on Saturday.
