Bhimavaram: Panchayat Raj Minister N Lokesh has said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is working like a 24-year-old young person at the age of 68. He took part in various development activities in Bhimavaram constituency on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Naidu was striving hard actively like a young man for the development of the state. Though the state economy was bad with Rs 16,000 crore deficit budget post-bifurcation, Naidu took it as challenge and running the government successfully by implementing all welfare schemes promised to people.
Lokesh said that farm loan waiver, Rs 10,000 pasupu-kumkuma to DWCRA women, Rs 1,000 pension, 24-hour power supply and unemployment dole were a few schemes implemented in state which speaks volumes about the talent of Naidu, he claimed. Lokesh informed that a sum of Rs 3,332 crore was spent for the development of Panchayats in West Godavari district. In Bhimavaram constituency alone a total Rs 150 crore was spent, he added.
