Two MSME parks to come up in Krishna district

Vijayawada: The state government is going to start two Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (MSME) parks in Krishna district. According to officials, the two parks will be setup at Peddavaram and G Konduru in the district’s limits.
The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has acquired nearly 100 acre for these two projects. It also has plans to extend the MSME parks in the nearby locations based on the demand.
Already the MSME and APIIC jointly invited the applications from the interested entrepreneurs to start their production plants and other establishments. According to plan of MSME parks, 300 plots are available at Peddavaram industrial park and nearly 200 plots are available at G Konduru industrial park.
The APIIC fixed the price Rs 1,100 per each square yard for G Konduru industrial park and Rs 880 was fixed per each square yard at Peddavaram industrial park. The process for receiving applications began a few days ago, said Harsha, a representative of APIIC.
Speaking to The Hans India, he said that the application would be shortlisted for allocation of plots by a committee comprising senior officials of industries department and district administration.
