Amaravati: The State government released Rs 31,39,600 to various private agencies as rents for employees working at State Secretariat. The State government released this amount on Thursday to provide transit free guest house accommodation to the employees of the Secretariat residing at Luxury Village and Emerald at Navaluru near Mangalagiri, Srirama Arcade & Tanmayi Residency at Undavalli and other areas in the Amaravati limits for the month of November.
The break-up of money released include Rs 5,10,000 payments released as rents to 51 Flats of Tadanki Ventures at Vijayawada; Rs 6,71,000 given to flat owners at Chillapalli Luxury Apartment & Emerald at Navaluru; Srirama Arcade & Tanmayi Residency at Undavalli for another 51 flats.
Government also released an amount of Rs 12,87,600 to the flat owners at Rain Tree Park Apartments at Pedakakani near Guntur on National Highway. Here the government took 57 triple BHK and 2 double BHK flats. In addition, 18 double BHK flats were taken at Chillapalli Luxury Apartments, 24 flats at Emerald Park at Navaluru, Srirama Arcade, 9 at Tanmayi Residency at Undavalli, 51 flats at Tadanki Ventures at Vijayawada taken for providing accommodation to the staff. Government released Rs 6,31,000 for these flats.
The State government has been providing these flats to the employees as transit free guest houses from the day one onwards of shifting the capital city from Hyderabad to Amaravati. At that time, the employees requested state government that they could not find the accommodation as they suddenly shifted from the Hyderabad to Amaravati. Now the state government has been constructing the houses for the employees here in new capital city, which will be available within couple of months.
