Two remand prisoners escaped from police custody in Gudur town on Saturday
Nellore: Two remand prisoners escaped from police custody in Gudur town on Saturday.
Police identified them as Siva Kamar and Sai of the town, who were remanded for allegedly involving for killing a retired railway employee last month.
On Saturday, police shifted them from Nellore Central Jail to Gudur for attending court proceedings.
They escaped from the court premises jumping the compound wall when police personnel were not alert.
Though police personnel tried to catch them it proved in vain.
