Amaravati: The state government allotted lands to government officials on Thursday. The allotments include 750 square yard housing land for each High Court judge at Rs 5,000 per Sq yard and 500 Sq yards for each IAS officer at the same price. The allotment was made by the Group of Ministers, said minister for urban development P Narayana.

He further explained that the GoM also decided to provide lands to gazetted officers at a cost of Rs 4,500 per Sq yard and each officer will be entitled to take 200 Sq yard.

NGOs will get 175 Sq yard at a cost of Rs 4,000 per Sqyard. Altogether, 238 acre was allotted for the employees in the CRDA. So far, 1,636 acre was allotted for various institutions and individuals, the minister said. The officers and employees working under CRDA limits, including Vijayawada, Guntur, Mangalagiri will get eligibility for the lands.
