Vijayawada: Krishna District YCP student wing president D Anji Reddy alleged that the government had filled Academic Consultant posts in Krishna University without giving notification and following the procedure.
Addressing the media on Monday, Anji Reddy said that a few government officials had filled the posts accepting money, degrading the reputation of the University.
He further said that normally the recruitment of the candidates has to be done following roster procedure. However, that procedure was not followed.
He said that in general the University has to recruit the post-graduation candidate for the posts.
However, the Krishna University administration recruited candidates who were not post-graduates.
He said that the recruitment procedure was done in an unfair manner when compared to the recent recruitment held at SV University, Tirupati.
He demanded the state government to appoint a Sitting Judge for judicial inquiry to put an end to these kind of issues.
He demanded Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao to react to the issue and a committee has to be appointed to pursue the matter, he added.
