APSRTC to purchase 84 new A/C buses
The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation APSRTC will purchase 84 new AC buses to meet the passengers rush in the summer season in 2019
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) will purchase 84 new A/C buses to meet the passengers’ rush in the summer season in 2019. The Corporation will buy three types of buses- Indra A/C buses 48, Amaravati A/C 4 buses, Night Rider A/C seater plus sleeper 12 buses and 20 Vennela A/C buses.
The APSRTC in a press release on Thursday gave details of the A/C buses. Out of the 20 Vennela A/C sleeper buses, 10 buses are already reached the head office and the remaining will reach soon.
The buses will be allocated to the routes in three regions as indicated. Vijayawada region will get six buses, Visakhapatnam region two buses and Chittoor region to get two buses. The new buses have many specialties.
Vennela A/C sleeper coach has 30 berths, which are comfortable with wide space. The buses have high suspension system and journey will be comfortable. Mobile and laptop charging points will be provided and drinking water bottles will be provided as in other AC buses like Indra, Garuda and Amaravati.
