Entrepreneurial awareness camp begins in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Youngsters pursuing entrepreneurship as a career option must always come up with innovative ideas, said Alla Raveendra Reddy, CEO, AP Drones Corporation at the inaugural of the three-day Entrepreneurial awareness camp here on Tuesday.

Raveendra Reddy was the chief guest of the awareness camp which was organised by the Department of Business Administration, PB Siddhartha College and sponsored by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India.

Reddy said that the ideas have to be discussed and shared with many people then the refinement will takes place.

Implementation of ideas was the key differentiating factor than simply having conceptual understanding, he added.

Velagapudi Krishna Kumari, president, Velagapudi Foundation said that the business models should be framed with social responsibility orientation so that the benefits will reach wider base of stakeholders.

Rajesh C Jampala, Dean said entrepreneurial mindset was required for the employees also. College principal Dr M Ramesh advised the students to start entrepreneurial ventures.

Rahman, convener of Entrepreneurship Development Cell coordinated the event. College director Vemuri Babu Rao and faculty members were present.
