Anantapur: State Nayee Brahmin Cooperative Societies Federation Chairman G Nageswara Rao has stated that BCs enjoyed a golden era of prosperity, upliftment and development only during the TDP rule since 2014. The BC communities were not allowed to grow socially or economically during the Congress rule.

Talking to reporters at the Roads and Buildings guest house here, Nageswara Rao said that the State government spent Rs 43,000 crore on the welfare and development of BC communities.

The Chief Minister gave Rs 900 crore for various BC corporations, Rao said and added that he also gave 2 acres of land for every BC Bhavan and financed English medium education for BCs from fifth standard to Intermediate. Federation’s convenor Nagaraju, district president E Prasad and advisor Raghu were present.
