ZIPPR codes to be introduced in Ongole
After the successful implementation of the digital house numbering system using ZIPPR at Tirupati, the municipal administration department is introducing the same technology in Ongole municipal corporation from Monday
Ongole: After the successful implementation of the digital house numbering system using ZIPPR at Tirupati, the municipal administration department is introducing the same technology in Ongole municipal corporation from Monday.
The municipal Commissioner, Sankranti Venkata Krishna announced that as part of the digital door numbering system, a unique number will be given to every house in the town.
He said that the officials will include the door number, details of civic services along with the owner name and other details into a QR code and generate the unique code for display.
He added that now, the public can share the exact location on the house using the app Zippr and requested the house owners to cooperate with the staff visiting their house to install a metal plate with the code.
