Mydukur: A group of red sandalwood smugglers attacked on Tirupati Task Force police while they were conducting the combing operation near the Jandlavaram forest area at Mydukur mandal in Kadapa district.
The police parties became alert immediately and got control over the smugglers. The police caught hold of two sandalwood cutters (workers) and shifted to Mydukur police station.
in this action, the police have recovered 12 logs of sandalwood from the incident site.
