Hoax call puts railway authorities on alert

 Tirupati: A hoax call by an youngster saying that bombs were deployed at Tirupati, Puttur and Chittoor railway stations made the railways authorities to run from pillar to post on Tuesday morning.

An youngster Lokesh of Puttur mandal dialled '100' number and informed the police about the bombs that were placed in the three stations. Identifying the number from the call has come, police took the accused into custody and enquiring. Meanwhile, rigorous inspections were made at the three stations by Police, RPF and bomb squad and found that it was a fake call.
