Visakhapatnam: Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) Joint Director M P Dubey has said that participation of youth in cultural festivals would improve their mental stamina and instill confidence in them to tackle the complexities of life in future.

Inaugurating the two-day Yuvtarang-2K19, a cultural fest of Vignan Group of Institutions here on Saturday, Dubey highlighted the participation students in cultural, sports and games.

Presenting the appointment orders of various companies in the campus recruitment drive, Chairman of Vignan Group Dr L Rathaiah said that students should get many such achievements which would make their parents as well as the college proud.

Dr B Arundhati, Principal, VIIT and Prof A Sesha Rao inaugurated sports and games competitions including football, throwball, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, kho-kho and athletics.

Srivatsa Nagarajaiah, Director-Recruitment, TEK Systems Global Services, Dr K Madhusudhan Rao, Vice-Principal (Academics), Vignan and students from various engineering colleges attended the festival.
