Tirupati: Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) has celebrated International Mother Language Day here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor (V-C) Prof V Muralidhara Sharma has said that the varsity has students of various languages like Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Oriya, Marathi, Bengali etc., One can express his feelings freely in his mother language only which they learn from the lap of mother itself.
Academic Dean Prof Rani Sadasiva Murthy has explained the sweetness of Telugu language and mother tongue through various poems. Head of Telugu Department Dr Y Vijaya Lakshmi, Dr S Muralishdara Rao, Dr Ch Nagaraju, D D Nallanna and others participated.
