Eluru: As a last opportunity for those who failed to find their name in voter list, the Election Commission (EC) is arranging for special voter registration camps in West Godavari district on Saturday and Sunday.
Joint Collector M Venugopal Reddy reviewed on missing names in voter list and other issues with representatives of political parties here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, he asked the political representatives to help people crosscheck voter lists at all polling centres to notice any missing name.
The JC appealed to all voters to visit the special camps at polling booths and verify whether their name included in the final list or not. In case of failure to find the name, they need not worry.
Arrangements are being made so that they can fill the required forms and submit at the camp itself for inclusion of their name again, he added.
At the review meeting, he appealed to the political party leaders to appoint agents at booth-level and submit report to District Collector at the earliest.
DRO N Satyanarayana, TDP leaders Jagadish Babu and Achyut Babu, CPM leader Prasad, Congress leader Pundarikakshudu, YSRCP leader K Venugopala Rao, BJP leaders Sudhakar Krishna and Nelaraju, BSP leaders Lenin and Rambabu were among those present on the occasion.
