Vijayawada: Water Resources Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao said that the people of the State would give a combined gift to YSRCP and TRS soon in the coming elections.
Addressing the media here on Sunday, Uma termed YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy as a Duke working under Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, an emperor and his son KT Rama Rao, the Prince. He alleged that KCR has been trying to rule Andhra Pradesh through his duke.
Devineni Uma alleged that Y S Jagan’s visit to London was to transfer money from UK to AP through Hawala for the coming elections. He alleged that BJP leader GVL Narsimha Rao is the mouthpiece of Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
He further said that Jagan had entrusted his party activities to KT Rama Rao before going to London on Hawala work. He dared the Opposition leaders to reveal the association among Modi, KCR and Jagan at least at the Visakhapatnam meeting.
Umamaheswara Rao further blamed TRS MP Kavitha for filing cases against construction of Polavaram Project to stall the works. The Water Resources Minister said after the completion of Polavaram Project, Rayalaseema will be transformed as Ratnala Seema.
He recalled that competing with 28 other States in the country, the Water Resource Department of Andhra Pradesh won seven national awards. During the last five years, Andhra Pradesh has taken up a challenge to compete with the developed States in the country in all fronts and stood tall, Uma said.
