Vijayawada: The annual day celebrations of KBN College held on a grand note on the college premises here on Saturday.
The chief guest of the programme was Board of Intermediate Education Commissioner B Udayalakshmi.
Speaking on the occasion, Udayalakshmi said students should set high goals in their life and strive to achieve them.
There is a vast growth in all sectors and the students should update them according to the latest and advanced innovations in all fields, she said and added that the students should focus more on the fields where there is ample scope of employability.
The commissioner appreciated the management of KBN for imparting quality education to the students for the last five decades.
Honorary guest Board of Intermediate Education RIO CSSN Reddy said that the students of the institutions are excelling in all fields.
The students should make use of all available opportunities to be successful in life. He complimented the management for providing good infrastructural facilities to the students.
College president T Srinivas said the college was organising various programmes for the overall development of the students. The placement division of the college was providing job opportunities to the students in many ways, he added.
College principal Dr V Narayana Rao, treasurer A Ramakrishna Rao, committee members G Rama Rao, Haragopal, faculty Durga Prasad and others were present.
