APSRTC to run 330 special buses for Maha Sivaratri
APSRTC Tirupati region would operate 330 special buses from March 3 to 5 for the convenience of the devotees visiting various holy places in Chittoor district, on the occasion of major religious event, Maha Sivaratri which would be observed by Hindus all over the country
Tirupati: APSRTC Tirupati region would operate 330 special buses from March 3 to 5 for the convenience of the devotees visiting various holy places in Chittoor district, on the occasion of major religious event, Maha Sivaratri which would be observed by Hindus all over the country.
Besides, the special buses operation in the district, 70 more special buses will be run by the region including 60 to Kotappakonda and 10 to Srisailam, according to Regional Manager T Chengal Reddy.
The RTC official said that separate points were set up in the pilgrim centres to monitor the operation of the special buses to Srikalahasti, Talakona, Sadasivakona, Jhurikona, Mallaikonda, Siddeswarakonda, Avanthi and Mogili in Chittoor district from various depots including Tirupati, Madanapalle, Chittoor and Puttur.
