Guntur: Assembly Speaker Dr.Kodela Siva Prasada Rao predicted that the TDP will get 150 seats in the forthcoming Assembly elections in the State and form the government .
Addressing the media at Sattenapalli on Tuesday, he said that welfare schemes being implemented by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu benefited all the sections of people. The government has been distributing social security pensions, ration cards, pasupu-kumkuma aid and other benefits irrespective of political affiliations. He said 'Annadata Sukhibhava' will benefit all the farmers in the State.
The Speaker expressed confidence that the development works taken up by the government and the welfare schemes will bring TDP back to power. He said that he will take up responsibility of winning Sattenapalli and Narasraopet Assembly constituencies in the ensuing elections.
Stating that YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy and party leader Amabati Rambabu have been hurling allegations of corruption against his family, the Speaker challenged them to prove allegations. Rebutting their allegations, Kodela alleged that YSRCP is provoking people on caste lines and creating problems in villages.
Referring to the development works which he had taken up, he recalled that he developed crematoriums in Sattenapalli and Narasaraopet towns.
It may be mentioned that YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Ambati Rambabu alleged that Kodela Siva Prasad family members are collecting K tax (Kodela tax) from the hawkers also.
