KVV Raju is new CII Chairman
K V V Raju, Chief Executive Officer, Granules OmniChem Private Limited, was appointed as Chairman of CII Visakhapatnam Zone and J Srinivas Raju, Managing Director, Geomarine Dynamics Private Limited, was appointed as Vice Chairman for 201920 at the zone annual meeting held in the city on Saturday
Visakhapatnam: K V V Raju, Chief Executive Officer, Granules Omni-Chem Private Limited, was appointed as Chairman of CII Visakhapatnam Zone and J Srinivas Raju, Managing Director, Geomarine Dynamics Private Limited, was appointed as Vice Chairman for 2019-20 at the zone annual meeting held in the city on Saturday.
On the occasion of annual meeting, the zone also organised a session on "Leadership in Adversity." While opening the session, VPT Chairman M T Krishna Babu advised to prepare the team to face the adversity because it is the teamwork which make it happens.
Identifying team members' strength is of utmost importance to sail the ship at adversity, he added.
Amit Garg, Additional Director General of Police, CID, stated that, if everybody of team is on the same page, then things become easier and one must distinguish between bonafide or malafide.
M Hari Narayanan, Commissioner, GVMC said that every adversity gives an opportunity to learn.
He was of the view that delegation and capacity building is something very important in leadership. These things really help at the time of adversity, the commissioner added.
Professor M Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM, Visakhapatnam and D Sunil Reddy, Managing Director, Dodla Dairy also spoke.
