Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam party is getting ready to launch Adireddy Bhavani Srinivas, the daughter of later Yerram Naidu and the sister of Srikakulam MP Ram Mohan Naidu from the Rajamahendravaram segment in the forthcoming elections.
The party is confident that the Yerram Naidu's family background and the following of Ram Mohan Naidu will help Bhavani to win the elections.
It's said the TDP has almost confirmed the Rajamahendravaram Assembly ticket, as she is the sister of Srikakulam sitting MP and daughter-in-law of the former MLA Adireddy Apparao.
Moreover, by giving the party ticket to Bhavani, the BC community votes in Rajamahendravaram will be transferred to TDP.
In 2014 elections Rajamahendravaram Urban Assembly seat was given to BJP, as part of political alliances, BJP candidate Akula Satyanarayana has got elected as MLA.
With the latest political developments in the state, MLA Akula Satyanarayana has resigned to BJP and joined Jana Sena party. Whereas TDP broke its alliance with BJP for doing injustice by not giving special status.
As her father-in-law, Adireddy Apparao has the stronghold in Rajamahendravaram constituency, and as a minister her uncle Acham Naidu, brother MP Ram Mohan Naidu's support will be their, TDP high command expects that Bhavani Srinivas will be a strong contestant from this Assembly segment.
The Rajamahendravaram Urban segment has more of BC voters, and with the target of winning this seat in the elections, TDP supremo has decided to give the MLA ticket to Bhavani.
In recently, TDP has also conducted Jai Hoo BC Sabha, through which the party has declared to give prominence to BC communities..for which TDP government has announced separate corporations and implementing BC sub plan.
By winning Rajamahendravaram Urban seat, Bhavani will become the part of Lokesh team in the party. Already her brother MP Ram Mohan Naidu has got popular craze among the youth in the party, and after winning the elections she will also play a key role in the party.
The news of Bhavani entering into politics has become a reason for political discussion in the state.
